Secretary of State John Kerry's warning that Israel will be "blamed" if Congress opposes the Iran agreement conjures up troubling memories of other instances in which Israel or Jews were warned they might be blamed for international conflicts. John Kerry

Secretary Kerry made his remark in an address to the Council of Foreign Relations on July 24. He appeared to be not merely predicting that Israel might be blamed, but hinting that the Obama administration itself might do the blaming. And since the administration has repeatedly claimed that rejection of the agreement will lead to war with Iran, the implication of Kerry's statement seems to be that Israel, the Jewish state, would be to blame for such a war.
The possibility that the blame would be extended to Israel's supporters in the United States has already been raised by President Obama himself, in his warning that unnamed "lobbyists" and "money" were trying to block the Iran deal.
One unfortunate comparison brought to mind by this kind of talk is an episode involving the pundit and unsuccessful presidential candidate Pat Buchanan. In the months preceding the first Persian Gulf war, Buchanan charged that "there are only two groups that are beating the drums for war in the Middle Eastthe Israeli defense ministry and its 'amen corner' in the United States."

Where have we heard this before?
I am so tired of this evil, thoroughly corrupt, thuggish, bullying LIEberal administration!
“Threaten this, threaten that!”
“It is all [somebody else’s] fault! Not our fault!”
“Blame this person, blame that person!”
“Blame this country! Blame that country!”
“Blah, blah” blah” Ad nauseum!
Please, Lord, deliver us FRom them!
And, deliver ALL of them to the Big House, where they will spend the rest of their lives wearing orange jump suits and rendering big rocks into small rocks!
sorry Kerry, those damned Joos aren’t afraid of you or your threats
besides, they’ve been pretty much blamed for all sorts of bad stuff (much of which they did not cause)... for a very long time. you “blaming” them for something gloriously good (saving USA from the nuclear bombing you and your boss have so carefully arranged)....... the Jooos will gladly take the ‘blame’ for helping to save America from your treasonous perfidy....
The Kerry Horseface agreement has many facets. If the US Congress rejects the agreement, Israel will be blamed. If Israel attacks Iran, Israel will be blamed. If Israel does nothing and gets nuked out of existence, Israel will be blamed. Under these circumstances I recommend the following, nuke the UN, nuke every major German city, nuke Paris, nuke Moscow, nuke Persia, nuke DC, and than there won’t be anyone remaining who will blame Israel.
The headline is misleading. Conflating “Israel” and Jews” into a singular entity is dishonest no matter who does it.

But most here won’t have the foggiest notion what you’re talking about.

Blaming Jews is a characteristic of Jihad John Kerry’s class and this administration in general. And why not, considering the President’s long-time church and preacher.
But just remember, even if the deal is signed with no protest, when the first Iranian nuclear warheads start to fall, the Jews and Israel will get blamed for that, too.
Blame? The word for anybody who flushes this treasonous deal is CREDIT!
Aramaic (a language closely akin, a sister language to Hebrew) was commonly spoken by many Jews and some others in that part of the world at the time of Jesus, (and Jesus is cited speaking a few words of Aramaic as would have been understood by the Jews of that place and time), so he probably knew Aramaic. And, he prayed in the synagogues, discoursed and debated with other Jewish religious leaders of his day including in Jerusalem itself, and read from (and taught from) the Jewish scriptures, including the Isaiah scroll (Hebrew) in synagogue....All of these activities indicate Jesus was fluent in Hebrew (both verbally and reading).
Finally, he probably knew some Greek - another language fairly common in at least the Galilee region at that time (especially as it is thought he worked as a tradesman in the Greek-inspired city of Sepphoris (neighboring Nazareth and where most of the local economic and building activity took place), then he would have likely also understood some Greek.
My opinion: what matters is what he had to say, not what languages or dialects he said it in. But yes, the betting is he knew his Hebrew, Aramaic, and probably at least some Greek.
It’s a horrible deal because Kerry’s an idiot..
I see Kerry is still an idiot studying to be a moron, and failing.
When my family said it, I NEVER believed it absolutely could NEVER happen here. Never say never. This is not the country it once was. That Obama could be President and Kerry Sec of State... Also, even back in the 1940s Jews were not THAT welcome here....
So, Kerry will blame da Joos if the deal doesn’t close?
Stolen from FReeper Charles Martel
Conservatives have said for years that democrats hate the jews in general and Israel in particular. Obama and his toadies have made it crystal clear that we were right all along. And yet Hillary (remember her “FJB” tirade?) will get 80% of their votes anyway. Sigh.
Kerry is anti-Semitic.
Kerry Horseface agreement is a play on words to find something similar to Trojan Horse. That used to be the worse agreement in world history. This new one with Iran will go down as THE worse agreement in world history. Anyway it turns out. There cannot be a good result. Mr. Secretariat is very good for Kerry himself, but the time frame is off by 40 years with respect to the agreement. In simple terms it could be called the Kerry Horse instead of the Trojan Horse. But that does not convey the sheer idiocy of an agreement that has no possible good outcome for either side.
Neville is starting to look better to me....
