That's a LIE. The BSA won their case in the Supreme Court in 2001, confirming their right to freedom of association. They didn't have to endorse homosexuality in any form or measure, or atheism either.
The change in policy is an unforced error. The leadership made the decision because they think they'll raise more corporate contributions.
They abandoned G-d, the Scout Oath, and any remaining semblance of integrity over money.
They whored themselves out for corporate money.
Zipper, you have not abandoned the BSA. Rather, the BSA has abandoned you, plus they have abandoned the clearly stated values of the Scout Oath and Law.
