Bit early for gloom and doom, isn’t it?

Besides, Cruz looks terrific at this point. At least to me.

I’m more inclined to vote for Cruz than Trump anyway. I don’t really trust Trump. Besides, I think he could turn out to be another Schwarzenegger, but on a national scale.

Yep, I’ve been noting the Arnold - Donald
comparison since Trump started chatting up the
campaign thing. I trust him as a conservative
about as much as I would trust Bill or
Hillary Clinton with my 18 year old daughter if I
had one.

Or a Jesse Ventura? Jesse’s apparently backing Bernie this time around.

lol. Well you and 6 percent of other Americans. Cruz is our Newt of 2016. He will probably be quite a sight during the debates, but he will fizzle out eventually. The thing with Newt was that he at least was able to convince the House and Senate to pass his agenda during leadership. Cruz can’t seem to convince the Senate to pass a renaming of a street. I feel for him because he is a good guy but he is horrible at trying to get votes for his agenda.

“Besides, Cruz looks terrific at this point. At least to me.”

The only issue with Cruz winning anything at the national level is brand-name recognition. I’ve brought up the name several times to typical, uninformed people and they reply, “never heard of him”.

We lose anyway if Jeb is the nominee. Hillary and Jeb are one in the same in my opinion. Heck, we won majorities but we are still losing cause of politicians like Jeb-RINOS.

Of course he does, and to me too. The problem is folks like us are in the vast minority these days in this country.

The one thing Trump has going for him, is that in this day and age of Social Media, he is the one Candidate that can get past the screening of the Drive-By media and get his message direct to the Low-Information Voters. Could milquetoast guys like Mitt Romney or Jeb Bush do that? No way.

My hope is that people will realize that while Trump's message may be good, the man has too many flaws, but then will see there is a candidate who has the exact same message without all the flaws, and that is Ted Cruz.
