Welded tubing is still a good way to build a car. If I do another one it will be carbon fiber.
Carbon fiber structurals? Fascinating!
I’ve seen quite a few carbon fiber body part tutorials on the Net and might attempt a carbon/glass laminate body project. Did do some fiberglass work in the past on boats and boards.
Carbon fiber looks much more expensive than fiberglass but potentially far less expensive than buying new factory body parts.
But structurals? Wow.
