I know of at least one eagle scout who has taken down his letter from another president and award. Off the wall and into storage.
I’m not an Eagle, but our son is. He is devastated by this announcement.
I have many photos, pics, certificates and awards to take off my walls.
Uniforms will probably be donated to the Scout closet, t-shirts will now be used as work shirts.
My box of patches, pins and awards, including the Silver Beaver and District Award of Merit will also go into storage along with my OA Silver Shark and Vigil Honor stuff...will make room for my military related memorabilia.
I have a ceramic plaque of the Scout Oath from when I was a Scout back in the ‘70s hanging on the wall. A nice piece which will go as well...
