Isn’t this childish? This sounds like 8th grade thinking to me. So if a country doesn’t allow homosexual marriage, which is true for most of the world, we are not going to allow the spouses of foreign diplomats into our country?? What the heck sort of thinking is behind such an idea?? Tit for tat?? What the heck???
If any eighth graders of my generation ever thought of the idea of ostracizing a country because of their stance on whether they allow “gay spouses” or not, they would have been very, very quiet about such thoughts or ostracized themselves as extremely weird if they gave voice to such thoughts.
