With 600 million people south of our porous non-existent southern border and untold millions outside the Americas who might also avail themselves of this easy access, there can be only one immigration policy - Stop giving prizes for illegal entry.

Any measure that permits those who entered illegally to benefit from that illegal act is amnesty.

Therefore, the solution is to set up a system that will encourage illegal aliens to self-deport and come back legally as guest workers. Private worker placement agencies that we could call “Ellis Island Centers” will be licensed by the federal government to match willing guest workers with jobs in America that employers cannot fill with American workers.

They are not going to self-deport unless they are guaranteed that they will be able to come back. Moreover, we have the lowest labor participation rates in 38 years. We have a surplus of labor. If we didn't wages would be going up, not down.

Immigrants are taking American jobs and depressing wages.

Pence's "touchback" scam is full of holes. It was done as a charade to disguise what it is, i.e., amnesty.

The way to do is is to tell them if they voluntarily register with INS and then self deport (within a say, 90 day period), they will get preferential treatment when applying for re-entry legally, but if they don’t self-deport and are later caught and deported, they will be blacklisted and never allowed back.

Under the MY PROPOSED laws, illegal immigration is a felony, punishable by up to two years in prison. Immigrants who are deported and attempt to re-enter can be imprisoned for 10 years. Visa violators can be sentenced to six-year terms. AMERICANs who help illegal immigrants are considered criminals.

The law also says AMERICA can deport foreigners who are deemed detrimental to “economic or national interests,” violate MESHUGE MIKEYS law, are not “physically or mentally healthy” or lack the “necessary funds for their sustenance” and for their dependents.

Yes, because you gave them the incentive to self deport.

The way you get people to comply with the law is to reward compliance and penalize non-compliance, up to this point people are actually rewarded for non-compliance, which is why they ignore the law.

The proponents of amnesty are wont to create the false choice between a blanket amnesty and mass deportation of 12 to 20 million illegal aliens. In reality, we have other choices and alternatives that don’t reward people who have broken our laws with the right to stay and work here and an eventual path to citizenship. The 12 to 20 million illegal aliens did not enter this country overnight and they will not leave overnight. Attrition through enforcement works. We have empirical data from Georgia, Oklahoma, and Arizona proving that it does.
