You, know, I've never heard of that or thought of that before, but that's the damn truth !
So-called Hispanics on the American Continent are mostly a mix of Spanish or Portugeuse with American Indian, AFAIK.
With the predominance of their language, religion and culture being Anglo, the are classified as Caucasian... though some would term them Mestizo due to the mix. ....JMO

Sounds like the Dems have their work cut out for them. Unfortunately for them, they’ll find that getting (legal) Hispanics to HATE Republicans is not as simply as saying “Vote or Die” or dragging a chain behind a pickup truck.
Not just Hispanics. The femnazis and their beaten-up followers isn't human nature. People like leaders who can lead and inspire, rise beyond their flaws.
Trump stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the leaders of Laredo. They found common ground and expressed mutual respect. That's leadership. I suspect it went a long way toward gaining the respect and admiration of the Hispanic community..

It took me some digging, but the polls seem pretty consistent on the following with respect to Hispanics:
1) Legal Hispanics do not like Open Borders (by at least 60/40). They know what’s down there and they really it stay down there.
2) Legal Hispanics do not like forced deportations. Part of it, I suspect, is the thought of having to ‘prove’ they’re legal simply because they might have an accent.
3) Legal Hispanics do like Amnesty (sadly). Most likely because they have illegal relatives or friends and would like them to enjoy the country.
Trump is concentrating on #1, which is why he’s still doing well. The Republicans that ran in Texas last year also concentrated on #1 (see my profile page) and did GREAT with Hispanics, nearly splitting their vote.
#2 can be dealt with via self-deportation - getting rid of the goodies that draw them here and keep them here.
#3 more or less goes away if #1 and #2 are done, but it may take swallowing another round of Amnesty (but with much few people if #1 and #2 are carried out) to keep them from turning on us. In any case, there is NO HURRY for #3.
Bottom line - there are options short of PANDERING and SPITTING on 20 Million conservative voters, in order to try to draw in 20 Thousand or so new Hispanics. Texas and every state in the South showed that last year...Trump seems to know that it can be done nationally.
You’re right. The Indians in Mexico refer to the Mexicans who are only European as Mexicans and the use the word disparagingly.

I agree with you, running off the illegals is not a racial issue, it’s about saving the country and jobs of which all people, Hispanics, Blacks and everyone else want to preserve.
Trump wants to save the country, so why wouldn’t a legal want him as Prez?
