Kentucky Senator and Republican presidential candidate Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said that he thinks there are about 58 senators who will vote to defund Planned Parenthood on Tuesday’s “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel.

Exactly. McConnell and Boehner didn't want to attach it to a relevant bill....thus the separate vote.

Did he get PP defunded? Results are kind of important if one wants to further ones agenda.

It's really petty to be supportive of Cruz efforts to defund PP and then deride Paul for his efforts to do the same.

BS, BOTH Cruz and Paul knew full well if funding for PP was attached to the Highway bill it would have passed with a 51 vote count needed.

Both Cruz and Paul knows full well that a stand alone bill requires 60 votes for cloture.

Paul is playing pocket pool with McConnell to help him save face after being called out for being a Bald Faced Liar.

That is all this upcoming vote is about...A couple of Show Ponies.

Don’t forget it was Paul who supported McConnell in the Primary against a Conservative.

Up until last week I thought our Republican senator’s were too weak and inept to effect any real change in the cultural war that this country has been losing for years. The truth that Cruz exposed shows a much more sinister reason. We are being betrayed by our own representatives as this human holocaust continues. They will be held accountable by God.

Yes, Paul has been playing pocket pool with the Turtle for some time. McConnell, in turn, gives him an occasional short reach-around.

I pray for intervention from the creator, as I flatly don't trust Boehner or McConnel to do what is sacred. I love our nation, but I am heartbroken because of the unrestrained wickedness that is occurring on a daily basis. My prayer to our creator is for one of two things:

1. Father I pray for divine intervention.

2. I have no desire to die, but if it is your will, then I pray for and accept divine destruction.
