To me Obama has exhibited a very cold cruel soul.

Of course he is sandbagging.

You can bet he is doing debate prep.
But unlike the other clowns(except Cruz)
He is not wearing Depends during his prepping.
Nor is he wearing a flop Sweatband.

You’re correct Trump can easily stand on his own without much of any debate prep.

Jon Corzine and Michael Bloomberg were also socially liberal and wealthy enough not to need donors.

Isn’t that obvious. You and I see that. It’s as plain as the nose on someone’s face. Do you know there are still people on this forum who claim Bush was a better president?

I just don’t get it. Perhaps they didn’t live back then. If they did, just wow.

Thank you for the note of agreement.

Interesting stats. To what do you attribute the drastic reduction in jobs? NAFTA? Y2K? 911?

Yeah reading up on some fact and figures, opposition research, and being wary ( planing) for Megan Kelly’s (Rupert Murdock) “gotcha” type questions.

I think Trump may be making a mistake here. Even 12hrs of prep with facts a data would serve him well.

How do you know that he's not prepping for the debate? Do you expect his campaign to send out a notarized itinerary of his debate prep?

I'm sure he'll come to the debates with a good understanding of the issues. Also, years with the sharks in corporate boardrooms will serve him well with regard to having to be sharp and to think on his feet. I wouldn't want to be up on that stage with him, no matter how versed I was on the issues.

All the fretting about Trump will work itself out during the primary process. If people do not want him, they won’t get him. Most likely people will lather themselves into getting an establishment Republican so that they can complain that nothing changes. In other words they will get the leader they deserve.

The seldom talked about subject of his birth in the U. S. “OR NOT”, is key to this IMO.

Why is it important that a president have been born in the U. S.? It’s because we need to have a leader that understands the nation and will seek to keep it strong.

I believe Obama was born outside the U. S. I believe that his experiences outside the U. S. caused him to hate the U. S. He was Islamic. He attended services in foreign lands. It’s my impression he was getting pumped up with anti-U. S. rhetoric the whole time.

The primary male figures in his life were anti-U. S. Some of them very anti-U. S. He is told that the U. S. has been an evil influence on the world. He adopts the idea that the U. S. must be changed and taken down.

He cannot allow the U. S. to remain Christian, or an influence on global dynamics.

He is doing his best to destroy the ability of the U. S. to be an influence for good globally.

His idea that Iran or more broadly a nuclear weaponized radical Islamic enemy of the United States, will make this world a better place, is evidence of incredible ignorance.

Even if you hate the U. S., don’t hand off power to an evil entity like Iran. And yet Obama can’t grasp this.

He is perhaps the most out of his depth political figure in recorded history.

Humanity on this planet will pay the price. It won’t be limited to the U. S.

So yes, he has a very cold and cruel soul.

And part of the reason why, is that he is not an U. S. Citizen.

He despises this nation, and would rather deliver it into the hands of the global enemies of freedom, than defend it in any way.

Well the MSM are really pushing the 1989 charge against him by his ex Ivana Trump that Donald raped her during their marriage. She is now denying it and supports him and says they are friends.

He’s probably just saying that to get the idiots in the media talking. I’m sure he will be prepped on material.

I think he’s doing it deliberately to subliminally battle the media narrative that he somehow has no business running for president that he’s not a serious candidate.

By saying he’s more wealthy than all of them put together he’s really saying “you should be asking if they’re fit to run against me, not the other way around.

Trump will do just fine. He has made billions just by talking. He’s not going to forget how to do that!

A theme of "bought and paid for" will go a LONG WAY.

Absolutely. I'd like to see his positions on the issues that are bought and paid for…like GMOs. Monsanto owns most of D.C., perhaps he agrees that poisoning farmlands is OK too.

Most candidates hide from their wealth and try to pass themselves off as a "common guy", often with hilarious results. Like Mike Dukakis taking a subway to the Stop & Shop and then asking where the "Belgian endive" is. Or John Kerry walking into a sporting goods store and saying "can I get me a huntin' license here?" - like he was Joe six-pack.

I'm tired of successful people feeling they have to apologize for it and trying to play it down. It's refreshing for somebody to come out and say "Yes, I'm rich and I'm successful - got anything to say about it?"

He’s saying that he has enough money so he doesn’t have to pander to others for contributions.

At any other time in our history this would piss me off! This time around I’m happy to see him campaign on his own dime and using it to stick his thump into the eyes of libs who use their job as free speech over the common man.
