Sheriff You are the authority on the scene and the Feds don't give you orders. This occurred on Tribal land. The Sheriff doesn't have jurisdiction there if either the perp or victims are Indian. If one or the other are Indian, then the jurisdiction is Tribal and/or Federal. If neither are Indian, then the local Sheriff will have jurisdiction.
