Ted is working the press for coverage. His message will not get out if he is ignored. Like or not swatting zingers with passion and principle is the screen test in the media age. Ted is not letting Mitt hand the nomination over to Jeb by making the primary to be about who raised the most funds.

W never fought back against his attackers. That’s how he ended his second term with a 27% approval rating, the lowest since Nixon. Ted Cruz is wise to defend his character and honor. Back in the day, they did it at dawn with pistols at twenty paces because honor meant more then than it does in our present Age of the Wimp.

This is exactly what Cruz should be doing. You don’t allow remarks like this to be broadcast without response. That is basically a shot without return fire.

When you’re surrounded by the enemy, it tends to simplify things. You shoot at everything that moves.
Cruz cannot let any of this go or it will be grabbed and used further either by the MSM or opponents on both sides of the aisle. The “rhetoric” was the TRUTH darn it and needed saying.
This fight important and I personally love to see wusses get clobbered even if it’s verbally.
