If you ever have a fire, your insurance company may likewise save many thousands of dollars if they find out your house was not wired by a licensed electrician. I’m not saying it’s good or bad.....that’s a question you should ask.
I happen to live in a county where I can do so. An electrician signed off on the service, and did a walk-through before I trimmed out... Likewise the job was state inspected and approved.
