Trump is the only one who understands how China is destroying the USA

Trump is the only one that can make illegals an issue and he did.

Scott Walker and Ann Coulter only ones that realize that legal 3rd world immigration as well as illegal immigration are the greatest threat to America even more so than #2 China

Regardless of how he does in this first debate I tend to think he’ll fall back on this is still new to him and the media will continue to give him a ride.

On the other hand ....Trump may very well do far more admirably then people might expect. The debates are getting down to “business” he may put on his best performance yet.

I have felt this for some time with Trump, but I believe the solution for the problem has already been dealt with.
Cruz has that grassroots organization you’re speaking of, and he and Trump have been meeting for months.
As/if Trump declines you’ll see Cruz pull those disgruntled Conservatives, and Reagan Democrats to him.
It’s going to take a delicate balancing act to shift the support, but I believe we have already seen the beginning, and will see more in the debates.
Just hearing Cruz inspires people, and unfortunately most Americans haven’t heard him yet. Watch for that to change after the first debate.

Criticism is one thing; he's survived everything thrown at him so far.

Objectively speaking, your well written and thought out post is actually part prognostication, and part pontification.

I have always enjoyed every damn word you write, and I do this posting as well, but do not confuse what you've written with legitimate criticism.

He has given voice to a burning frustration and actual fear in middle America that we are losing our country….

He is right and he says it better than any other candidate.

He can attack the bloodsucking political plunderers and their willing accomplices in the media, like no other candidate. He is not a professional politician. We need thousands more like him at every level of federal, state and local government.

The media isn’t covering Trump for ratings. They know they can’t ignore him like they do Sen. Cruz. So. For Sen. Cruz they have one strategy (ignore), and for The Donald they have another.

Since they can’t starve Trump of oxygen, they are pumping oxygen his way as they throw matches at him. They are trying to bring him down and have been from the start.

The problem is that Trumps most endearing quality right now is he’s in the face of the Washington Party and its media sycophants.

I’ve heard my fellow freepers telling me I’m stupid to think Trump’s found conservatism. You don’t think we know that? The biggest threat to Conservatism lay on both sides of the uniparty aisle.

Sen. Cruz is my candidate.

But Trump is the enemy of my enemy and I support him fully for that reason. I think you’re going to be surprised how far this bubble will float. Because he’s Trump, his irrational exuberance can outlast your political solvency.

Yes Trump is adept at manipulating the mediots. But he also has a knack for going around them using the popular social networking sites Facebook and Twitter. Even if there was a blackout in the broadcast forum, he would still make news the way the major networks can only dream of. In social media, his message goes out unfiltered and uncontested. And the bashers and whiners who finally get around to trying to refute him - their words will fail to gain any traction in the same forums.

That leaves only the MSM to again broadcast his words in order to setup the smackdown. So he wins again.

There are three candidates who actually “built that”. Carson, Fiarino and Trump. The rest are talkers who voters elected and then reelected. Very few of them were in the business world dealing with what the politicians “built”. Yet, we pooh pooh those who actually “built that” because of their style. Oh well, we get what we vote for over and over again.

The difference with Trump is he has shown that he's not owned by them.

Nope...lets not forget how many statements have been suppossed to sink him already according to that same press...and some here on FR as well...

“How dare trump say those things about mexicans (illegals)’

“How dare trump say tha bout John McCain(RINO)”

“Trump raped his wife (no not really)”

This many canidates means many people already have a dog in the fight...and they dont want to see trump upset their apple cart.
