Socialism is communism in progress.
And it will always be socialism because getting to communism is impossible. Those in power will never give up being the Inner Party. They know this and that is one of many of the great lies of socialism.

Socialism is communism in progress. And communism is the totalitarianism you have to add to socialism, when the people start figuring out that socialism is communism in progress (forever).
