Why aren’t the drone operators facing the same charges?

If the drone failed over the property, or the operator goofed up, the sunbathing daughter could have been seriously injured.

Then the police don’t even take the SIM card from the drone—that’s evidence!

These charges should be dismissed.

I like the part when the four men who had the drone approach him after the shootdown, and stop when they see he is armed, and he warns them if they cross his sidewalk, there will be another shooting.

They invaded the space, and lost the drone. They should not have been so stupid and careless. Lesson learned.

Based on their ability to ID him as the “shooter”, the drone was either at close range with a wide angle lens camera, or equipped with a telephoto zoom lens for observing activity at the ground level.
