Other than being an exceptional physician, what does he bring to the table?
Doc Carson does brain surgery. Perry may need his help judging by the ranting he has been doing recently
He doesn’t bring much and he won’t be president. Sadly, my husband and I were watching this this morning and when the camera caught him unaware, he looked like he was fast asleep. That, combined with his laid-back speaking style is death in ‘16. For all the flack Herman Cain took on FR, he had joy, humor and snark that is alien to Dr. Carson. I loved Cain.
IMO, far more than the professional politician. I'm tired of business as usual in the DC cesspool. Not saying I support Carson BUT he is every bit as qualified as the rest of the pack.
I think he’s a good guy. Not POTUS material, but definitely an asset in a cabinet post, and someone I’d want in the operating room if I or a loved one were needing life-saving surgery.
Carson was also one of the first voices that really hit Obamacare hard and called it out for what it was. That get’s overlooked now because, you know, Trump now is apparently the only guy who’s ever taken on Obama or the GOPe in the last 30 years. Who knew?
I’m questioning the same thing. No government experience and no business experience, except for a medical practice. Plus he’s Seventh Day Adventist so he’s outside of mainstream Christianity.
Ben says some conservative things, but I can’t see him being a successful president.
