Morning! I’m afraid I slept in. DIL went into the hospital yesterday at 4:00. Dr was playing it safe. Wanted to induce, but baby had not dropped enough. Still, he’s a very large baby, and dr did not want to put it off, so tried a different drug that would not be as strong as Pitocin. So son called last night around 8:00 to say she was having mild contractions, but they still might consider sending her home if the contractions stopped. They did not come home, and I haven’t heard anything since. I was up, off and on, so very tired. All prayers appreciated!
Here’s hoping dil is in active labor and son is too busy running her back, getting ice chips, to call.
I can’t imagine them sending her home...poor girl.
I hope big sis sleeps in a bit—so gram can get a little more rest!
