If he opposes the deal (and that is a big IF), he will likely be quiet about it and just vote no.

Why is it a big IF? Because Obama probably has stuff on him (like everyone else in DC) and his chance at becoming Senate Minority Leader might be torpedoed if he makes a stink. Like most pols, he will put party ahead of conscience.
