A good deal maker motivates the opposing parties to do the deal. Carrots and sticks come to mind. But Trump is a know nothing, done nothing idiot, unlike yourself, minus the X Billions of dollars.

No, it was loaded straight onto an empty dry van.
No cooling blankets, paks or anything.
I was still on the dock when the Mexican driver pulled away. He just shut his doors and left.

As to the time from El Paso to Mexico City, I don’t know what the road conditions are, but I expect it’s lengthy.

The trailer was one that wouldn’t be allowed on US roads. No ICC bumper, most of the lights knocked off, and looked like it should have collapsed at least a year earlier.
The tractor looked like A 1970’s model.
All in all, not confidence inspiring.

A friend of mine has been to Mexico many times, his advice was don’t ingest anything not imported.

It's a shame that such an important message has such a lousy messenger.

:The shame is that there aren't seventeen messengers with the same message!

How about no foreign aid to any country?

Or limit government aid to a "what's in it for US?" basis. Foreign aid can become charity freely given rather than a transfer of stolen wealth to countries which may not even wish us well.

Wow! I hope whomever was selling the butter made the buyer take possession at the border. I can't imagine the cargo was in great shape by the time it arrived in Mexico City.

When I was young and lived in California, we took a day trip to Tijuana once. Our host told us three types of beverages were OK: carbonated, imported or alcoholic. The locals especially favor the later.

I don’t agree that any president should act outside the constitution just because obama did.

I don't disagree, but it will not be undone by a president that obeys the Constitution and the law, because congress actually agrees with most of it. If we had a cultural revolution and sanity returned to congress then yes it could all be undone.

A new President can rescind Obama’s memoranda and EOs with Congress. I think that part could be done by a Trump or Cruz and perhaps a Walker (maybe). I doubt Bush would change any Obama EOs. :-)

... American highways choked with Mexican death traps is because American trucking companies have been very vocal in opposition.

Well thank God for that. With all the illegal filthbag mexicans already sneaking into our country and raping and murdering, we sure do not need mexican trucks smashing into anything and everything here.

Something to remember about Rick Perry, he spent a lot of time supporting a “trans America” highway stretching from the Texas/Mexico border to the US/Canada border.
It would have been built using US tax dollars, but open to most Mexican trucking companies.

That would have been the foot in the door for the Mexican drivers.
I’m no fan of Perry’s.

I’m no fan of Perry’s.

Nor am I. So far, I like Trump/Cruz. Perhaps we'll all know more after this evenings first debate.

I have always been a strict constitutionalist.
Cruz is my dog in this fight.

I will support Trump if he gets the nomination. I did hold my nose and vote for McCain and Romney. I respect Trump much more than either of them.

I will be watching the debate as well. I spent the early morning reminding everyone I know to watch it.

I STILL have more confidence Trump could do what he says than I do for the promises of ANY other professional pol.
