NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Police are responding to a call of an active shooter at the Carmike 8 Cinemas on Bell Road in Antioch.
The incident occurred just after 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
Dispatch confirmed three EMS units have been sent to the scene.
Witnesses at a nearby business reported one person covered with blood.
Check back to WSMV.com and Channel 4 News for updates.
Hopefully it is the shooter who is covered in blood.

ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WKRN) – There’s a heavy police presence at an Antioch movie theater Wednesday afternoon.
It happened at the theater located on Bell Road around 1 p.m.
Police were seen placing yellow crime tape around an area of the parking lot.
It is unclear what the circumstances are.
I was just in Nashville on Monday for a doctor’s appointment..
Yes, if it's found that a lawful CHL carrier dispatched the perp, there will be a news black-out immediately.

Wow! Theater shootings are all the rage after all the publicity the Colorado theater shooter got.
