The moderators on the first debate were pretty poor; the ones on the second debate were actually dim-witted and offensive.
Why do we put up with this year after year? Why can’t we find moderators that actually understand the issues, and have respect for the people involved?

Thing is this. It IS true that the Apostle Paul condemned homosexuality in the NT. Christ isn’t quoted addressing that subject directly. However, CHRIST kept the whole OT law; so it’s a given he wasn’t approving queer behavior. Paul also kept the law as much as a human is able. - My mother used to say it was just a nasty habit that some men & women got hooked on. I agree.

$he had a very nice long interview with DT AFTER Kelly sprang that raps your wife story. She appologized for bringING it up but explained she was giving him an opportunity to clear the air. Picture taken afterward which she proudly displayed of two together all smiles DT thumbs up.
Am thinking either Greta or Bill were the source of his warning to cancel the Monday night interview. He appeared on Hannity on Tuesday

I think that Megyn Kelly did a favour to the candidates by asking them the question(s) they should have an easily ready response and by weeding out early those who have no reasonable response to a simple question that will be sure to come up in a more serious future debates in a more hostile environment and under tougher scrutiny.
If a candidate is unprepared to answer this and similar questions that come supposedly "from the left" (as it was characterized about 4 years ago about a question put to another putative GOP candidate in the primary) - then he/she doesn't know the answer and doesn't belong on a stage or ready to be a candidate.
Better to get these out early and for us to know who is viable, and for them to know what they can expect and be prepared.

The fact Kelly only selected a few to answer the question and changed the pretext for each identifies that she asked it with an agenda.
As for Cruz’s response, it was just about perfect. The only thing that could have made it better would have been if he quoted scripture.... Psalm 119:105 “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” That’s the word I received, Megyn. Now how does your daily path get lit?”
I think Megyn came out for Same-Sex Marriage, like Beck and S.E. Cupp have and that put a crimp in being fans of them. I know Beck tries to make it as being something about being a Libertarian point of view. Doesn’t mean I hate all 3, Beck’s not bad still sometimes.

Megyn has made a point that she’s a Christian on her show. I don’t see why she acted as she did during the debate.
It was like watching a mentally ill person act out with a split personality. The good, smart, thoughtful and ethical Megyn who is usually on tv versus the evil, attention whore, catty and unethical Megyn who showed up last night. I bet that is the last chance she gets to “monitor” a debate.
Republicans are going to have to re-invent debates. Our media is too stupid and corrupt to handle the task anymore.
