Liberals would burn the country down, if they could rule the ashes.

there are many reasons people vote for Democrats

And one of them is social class. In New England, the factory owners grandchildren still look down their noses at the factory workers grandchildren, and they never miss a chance to make it obvious.

Those factory owners grandchildren chair the county committees, run the golf tournaments and the receptions, and choose the candidates from among their own.

Most Democrats I know are those who BY FORCE OF LAW get a benefit paid for by somebody else.

Union Members, Education Establishment, Public Employees, Greedy Geezers, Enviro Wackos for a few.
Add in Illegal Advocates, Murderers of the unborn and the Poverty Machine and you pretty much have the Demon-rats.

The democrat party is a coalition between cultural elitists and economic populists while the GOP is a coalition economic elitists and cultural populists

Or, the dem party is a coalition of rich states and poor people while the GOP is a coalition of poor states and rich people.

It means that you should commit your self to a mental institution.

“Even more stunning is the recent Obama administration broadside against occupational licensing. It points out that one of every four jobs in the country requires a government license and reflects the concern of economists that these laws protect the producers, not consumers, and that their effects are eerily similar to medieval guilds.”

This was an odd one, and to me an outright admission that Obama and the Dems are accepting that the permanent unassimilated underclass will never be literate enough for standardized testing (of any sort). Every one of these crutches to provide shortcuts to the primarily minority underclass that actually lowers the bar is an undisguised admission by “liberals” that they in fact believe in the racial superiority of whites and Asians.

Being a Democrat means that you’re a brilliant, intellectual, enlightened, really-really smart, shining genius who knows all, sees all and is far above non-Democrats in evolution, learning, wisdom and knowledge.

(Yeah, right)

/Sarc/

IMHO

“1. The ends justify the means
2. Abortion
3. Anti God”

You left one out. Remember when God was booed by the Dems?
Dems moto: Love yourself as you would like your neighbor to love you

Along those lines you explained and also (especially younger ones) they vote Dem because its seen as being more in and hip with the times like fashion — easily manipulated by the LSM. Partly explains why their voters often are the brain dead.

“Republicans appear to have been as bad as Democrats in yielding to these special interest pressures.”

And this is exactly why we hate them as well. Can anyone say, “GOPe”?

On the sports side of that analogy, if you think it is limited only to Patriots fans the you are delusional.

Being a GOPe establishment type means you know what is the correct thing to do but your inner desire and attraction to be an exciting DemoRat keeps getting in the way although you really try to suppress it in public for appearances sake. Like Goober Lyn-see Graham once said, ‘Repub by day, Democrat by night’, those are some long nights too lately for the feckless GOPe in DemoRat clothes.
