I figured you'd catch my meaning, "good enough for scratch." This is a New England term, roughly meaning if argument A is close enough to argument B, on the basis of logic and evidence, then even if they are not identical arguments, both arguments can reasonably be seen as referring to the same conclusion.
But New England Yankees have, in the past, singled out an additional, special meaning for "scratch": "Scratch" is a folk name for the Devil. Who, given his mission of total annihilation of God's order, in particular the order of men's souls, has to be hyper-rational in order to succeed.
For when he rebelled against his Father, he lost all possibility of Grace. But he's still pretty damned good at "reasoning"....
I guess that's some kind of backhanded compliment to reason.

I agree with you that Obama is not a socialist. But a fascist??? I think he's an anarchist. He "fiddles while Rome burns." But why shouldn't he fiddle, for he's the arsonist?
I do take your points re: fascism vs. communism. A communist wants to nationalize the productive engines of the economy — state ownership of the means of production in the name of the "people." A fascist, say a Benito Mussolini, leaves the means of production in private hands, but then regulates them into compliance with State goals. This way the government does not have the expense of maintaining the means of production, can bleed off as much of the gains from production as it wants through taxation, and can intimidate any supposedly private company into falling into line with State goals, whatever they may be, through carrot-and-stick intimidation on a national scale.
By these criteria, Bill Clinton was a fascist. If Obama were less of a nihilist, I'd say he is a fascist, too. But at least Mussolini believed (erroneously of course) that he was helping to advance Italy and the Italian people on the world stage. Like his mentors (e.g., Cloward and Piven, Saul Alinsky), everything Obama does works to weaken, undermine, and ultimately tear down the United States. He cares not a whit for the people. The more problems they have that he has caused, the better he likes it. Chaos is the friend of the anarchist.
I really don't know yet what to make of Mr. Trump. It's very early, and there's not much information to go on as to how he might actually govern if elected. But he will reveal himself in the coming months.
I am grateful to him for energizing the angry "silent majority." He is saying outright what they are privately thinking: America, under the Washington Cartel, is a place where politicians get richer, by working the system to their advantage, and the people are getting progressively poorer. The American middle class is being systematically destroyed. Americans are not only being fleeced, but are being stripped of their individual liberties, of their constitutionally-guaranteed inalienable equal rights.
Moreover, Americans are exposed to all the dangers of a feckless foreign policy, which seems designed to reduce the stature, influence, and power of the United States on the world stage. Obama coddles our enemies, and harbors an insane animosity for one of our closest allies.
Increasingly, people realize this. They demand a major course correction.
But it seems the Washington Cartel likes things just the way they are. NOTHING gets done in Congress, even though both houses are in GOP hands. The GOP doesn't like to disrupt the gravy train any more than the Dems do....

I think Donald’s a Nationalist....his arguments from the begining boil down to two... Foreign countries are making out better than us...and we look weak to the world leaders.
Trump said he’s had a lot of success in negotiations and business deals because he cares about and fights to get the best outcome for his interests.....so it’s not at all a stretch he would take that same fight to get the best outcome for America’s interests. ......If you look back just these four or five past years he hasn’t wavered from this...rather he’s expanded on it.
HE has used his wealth to pay for what he wants as a powerful image....Example...in his word’s.....“I’ll tell you what, with Hillary Clinton, I said, ‘Be at my wedding,’ and she came to my wedding,” he said. “You know why?... She had no choice because I gave.”
So he knows the players and the game very well...and where it’s the weakest. With Cruz and others as the inside men in Washington he knows who is strong there and who is also weak there as well...thus his recent meeting with Sessions to set up his immigration plan.

Do you think it has to do with him repeatedly saying, unabashedly, that “noone will take care of women I will” and that “he cherishes women”

p.s.: Of course Left Progressives (Like the Arsonist-in-Chief Obama, the MSM, and most of academe) will scream that "nationalist" is a dirty word. And anyone who uses that word must be some kind of criminal.
Of course, Left Progressives in general are not the most rational and historically literate people out there in the Public Square.... They probably comprise only a very small percentage of the total American population.
And yet their influence on public events is almost overwhelming. I mean, over such minutia as wedding cakes, etc., etc.
Why do the American people tolerate this state of affairs?
