“Then he would instruct the Department of Justice and the Internal Revenue Service to cease persecuting individuals seeking to practice their faith in their workplace.”

A Ted Cruz presidency would be the best thing to happen to America since Ronald Reagan.

Yes, we should move to a thread where the candidate says America First! America Wins!, and not “More 325,000 cheap H-1B labor foreign workers for corporations!”

In some ways I think he’s better than Reagan.

It’s not your decision. Good grief. I’m a Cruz supporter and this is ridiculous.

Send money to Hillary and Bill while you are there!
Trump supported single payer health care, Bill / Hillary, Amnesty, abortion,.....
Why would red state want him?
He’s campaign flipped on 10X more issue then Romney.

Our Standard: The Constitution
Ted Cruz has spent a lifetime fighting to defend the Constitution our nations founding document and the supreme law of the land which was crafted by our founding fathers to act as chains to bind the mischief of government and to protect the liberties endowed to us by our Creator.
Religious Liberty
Second Amendment
- Played a crucial role in preventing federal legislation to restrict the Second Amendment rights of Americans.
- Authored legislation to strengthen the Second Amendment rights of Americans by allowing interstate firearms sales.
- Led 31 states in District of Columbia v. Heller where the U.S. Supreme Court overturned a ban on firearms in a 5-4 landmark decision.
- Argued against unreasonable and burdensome gun restrictions before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
- Recognized by NRA executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre who observed, “Ted Cruz is one of our nation’s leading defenders of the Second Amendment. For over a decade, Ted has fought tirelessly to defend our constitutional right to keep and bear arms, and his leadership was absolutely critical to our major victories before the U.S. Supreme Court.”
U.S. Sovereignty
- Fought and won a landmark ruling for U.S. sovereignty in Medellin v. Texas at the U.S. Supreme Court against 90 foreign nations and the President to ensure the supremacy of U.S. legal system against encroachment by international treaties and rulings of the World Court.
- Cosponsored a resolution urging the president not to sign the UN Arms Treaty, which would have subordinated the Second Amendments rights of American citizens to global interests.

OK, Cruz, where in the hell is Obamacare. At least start immediately. The five things he mentioned are all things he can do as president. Ending Obamacare would require Congress.
To: Logical me
Sad thing—Cruz will never get the chance. He will never be President. The fix is in—It will be Bush III. Maybe Carla as VP (she’s a woman you know) —They are set to lose. What should happen? The GOP should be pulled from power—they are a stocking horse for the DNC. Straw men to be defeated by whom ever the progs put up. Think Dole, Think MCain, Think Mittens.
To: cripplecreek
“I actually believe him based on his past actions. He was clearly a fighting conservative since before most of us had ever heard of him.”
Remarkable how few candidates that actually applies to.

OK, Cruz, where in the hell is Obamacare. At least start immediately. I noticed that too, but I think it's a philosophical thing. Cruz didn't promise to repeal Obamacare on January 20, 2017, because President Cruz will not have that authority. I assume he will push to repeal that evil law quickly, and that he will promise to do so in his campaign, but the repeal lacks the urgency of his first day promises. So long as Cruz repeals Obamacare within the first few weeks, that is soon enough to start planning for the new calendar year eleven months later.
I don't care what parliamentary maneuvers are required; Obamacare must die. If the Senate has to "go nuclear", that is appropriate after the way Obamacare was rammed through. If they have to stick it as one line in a reconciliation bill, I'm okay with that too. It is one of the most important things President Cruz will do, but killing Obamacare can wait for days or even weeks (but not months!) before he starts.
