Does anyone have any doubt why Trump refuses to say that he will not necessarily endorse the GOP's candidate or that he won't run as an independent? I would suggest the RNC rein in these "strategists" because Trump could be the nominee or they will force him to run as an independent, which will kill the GOP's chances in 2016.
Donald Trump And The 'War On Women': GOP Confident Mogul Will Lose The Battle
It has been a dizzying few days for Donald Trump. But as the dust swirls from his latest provocation a controversial remark about Fox News moderator Megyn Kelly the party that has until now begrudgingly tolerated him has shown itself ready to cut him loose.
As Democrats focused with glee on Trumps remark and what it may say about the so-called Republican war on women, GOP strategists said they expected the real-estate mogul would not stay the course.
On Saturday one strategist, Liz Mair, told the Guardian: Its a very good thing for the GOP that Trump is basically self-destructing in front of our eyes.
Trumps latest controversy exploded in an interview with CNN on Friday, when he appeared to imply that Kelly had questioned him so directly in the first debate on Thursday when she quizzed him about his previous derogatory statements about women because she was menstruating.
That’s absolutely sickening!
These GOP know-it-all’s love to lose.
Hillary elected to POTUS is the last thing Trump wants.
The GOP/RNC be warned. Don’t drop Trump or force him from the debates.
He can and likely will go Independent or?
Breitbart’s site just posted this:
If you have surfed Fox News programs this morning I am sure you are discerning what I am discerning.
It is quite obvious a memo with talking points has been shared across the spectrum to news anchors, and to show hosts.
Just watched two programs that were discussing in depth the current status of the GOP race. Both programs were acting as if Trump were not even in the race; hardly even mentioned which was strikingly odd considering the last polls had him doubling his nearest competitor.
The tactic now seems well defined: first they HIT, Now they RUN.
The Memo might have been titled HIT & RUN.
So, how exactly does the GOP “cut him loose?” Seems to me the candidate has all the control over that.
