Trump Is No Friend of Free Market Health Care
American Spectator ^ | 8/10/2015 | David Catron

Most of Donald Trump’s public statements include the rote declaration that Obamacare is a disaster. This is true, of course, but it doesn’t tell us anything new. It’s only when he starts elaborating on his objections that one gets a sense of what he believes, and he doesn’t talk like a friend of the free market. During last week’s Republican debate, for example, he was asked about his past praise of single-payer health care and replied, “As far as single-payer, it works in Canada, works incredibly well in Scotland.” This answer was both antithetical to free-market thinking and profoundly ignorant.

Another RINO media entry. These people actually think Trump supporters care about anything they write.

These people were last heard pumping up Romney - the severe conservative.

I don’t care if Trump held communist positions.

To me Trump is a wrecking ball. And I’m enjoying watching the establishment scurry and spin.

What concerns me is John Bonehead and Mitch McConnel’s coziness
with Obama.

However, unlike Bonehead and McConnell who have the POWER to
do something, Trump has no political power to do anything.

>>Now that’s patently absurd, about this article and this writer. It may be true at Fox and Wall Street Journal - but it’s really disappointing to see you using Obama bot reasoning to stand by your man.

It would be patently absurd if history did not prove what I said. It is really disgusting that you stoop so low as to call me an Obama Bot, so I would quote Dick Cheney here...but I won’t.

Trump isn’t “my man”, but he is an actual VOICE that is standing up to our corrupt political system. I hope that he drops out before the actual voting begins, but I love having him in the race right now to give cover to the one or two actual conservatives in the race.

Just remember that once he is gone, all guns will turn on whoever YOUR man (or woman) is and then you will wish he was still there.

Knee jerk reactions are what Trump is famous for.

Maybe I’m lacking in political knowledge - very possible.
It’s been a very busy summer and I havent kept on top of everything the candidates have said.

I’m making an observation that Trump’s love for name calling doesn’t seem to be aimed at Hillary.

My political knowledge includes a good memory of how 2 elections were won in the 90’s with the help of an outspoken and popular businessman who criticized the establishment.

I liked people I voted for and some of them didn’t win, some of them did...they changed their minds all the time...

I remember listening to Kennedy and Nixon debates...I watched the George Wallace campaign, even was watching when he was shot...I watched the Bobby Kennedy campaign, same thing there...I watched the Reagan campaign (he used to be a Democrat you know)...I watched the Clinton, Bush, Perot campaign... I even remember when G.Bush the first stood up and said, “NO new Taxes”...

This campaign with Trump is no different than any others...they are out there like a salesman with their wares and it’s up to you to buy them, or not...

And whoever or whatever you buy from them in a form of ‘wares’ is between you and what you feel you like or want...I certainly don’t need anyone telling me I shouldn’t vote for this person because he/she doesn’t come up to their standards, that’s my decision to make the same as I don’t need to tell you the person I’m looking at is right for you because I said so...so when you decided on this candidates ‘wares’ feel good about it, watch, listen and then it ‘your vote, you use it’ and everyone else can do what they want...

You say your tired of people cramming things down your throat, well don’t do it to us on here...we can make our own minds up, we don’t need others telling us we are wrong or right...

I didn’t call you an Obama bot...I indicated that you were using Obama bot type reasoning to twist yourself into a logical pretzel to justify Trump.

See, this is where you are bot like: you switch the topic from Trump’s socialist healthcare notions to the fact he’s fighting against corrupt government. That’s illogical because BOTH can be true - and in fact BOTH ARE TRUE.

What I’m looking for is the LONE TRUMP SUPPORTER who says you know, I love the guy, but I’m a little concerned about this. Or, I don’t care that he’s more liberal than I would like, I think fighting the establishment is more important.

THOSE would be reasonable positions. This fan boy justification is indeed bot like.

Still too cowardly to remove your prohibition which prevents me from speaking directly to you, I see.

Probably just as well, I shellacked you pretty good the last time I did so, which of course, is why you banned me.

I’m that guy. I’ve been saying each of those things from the start. At first, I thought he was a joke, but then he started talking and making sense and then the GOProgressives started piling on and I knew that he was over the target.

Republicans control both houses of Congress and they like socialized medicine. The more the supposed republicans rag about Trump the more they expose the pit viper nest that is the GOP.

The voting electorate sent the GOP a message last November, when Republicans won two branches of government. The message was, we do not like what Obama and the Dems are doing, and we want it stopped, So, we turned out in decent numbers and the end result was a historic win. Now that the campaign commercials are over and promises forgotten, was has occurred? Our speaker of the house and leader of the senate has collaborated with Obama and been complicit in implementing his agenda, with chunks of RINO's rubber stamping along the way.

So what are we to do? Here we have another baker's dozen or so running for the presidency saying, "we'll be different". Yeah sure, people no longer believe them and are tired of the same old song and dance. In comes Trump: someone so completely different he's caught the attention of just about everyone. Is he the answer? probably not, but I think we need a Trump-like person to shake things up. I do not pretend to know what the end result is going to be, I just know we cannot continue down the same path of bullshit.

Nothing changes if nothing changes, as the saying goes. I personally like the amount of chaos going out right now. It is far away enough from the process to shake stuff up and maybe when it is said and done, we get an actual leader. When the dust settles, perhaps a Ted Cruzz comes out strong with a nice backing and some momentum for the finish. Either way, I think this is going to be an interesting Republican primary. People really do want, "change they can believe in" just not the progressive nonsense we have been forced to deal with.

Trump said that a decade ago and had no power to make it happen when he said it. He claims he has since changed his mind. In the meantime, “solid” republicans in the House and Senate could have completely defunded/killed Obamacare last year and have another chance next month. Did they? No. Will they? No, despite promising to do so before the 2014 election. That lie is only a year old. The GOP-E were even panicking earlier this year that SCOTUS might overturn Obamacare. Tell me who speaks out of both sides of their mouths? I am getting to the point where I wonder why I should vote for a “solid” republican again? At least Trump has said things critical of Obama, Hillary, Kerry, etc. How many republican “leaders” have you heard attack Obama, Hillary, Kerry, etc. like they attack Trump? I am not worried about Trump. I am more worried about having another GOP-E designated loser candidate like the last two.

A good CEO doesn’t have to be an expert at everything, he surrounds himself with the right experts to move the corporation in the right direction.

Ah, the uniparties needed to prepare a great distraction from Trump's initial campaign message. The uniparties establishment is rotten and crooked to its core. And they have decided to take down this perceived threat they cannot control.

The tendencies of a person describes their nature. You tend to present yourself above the rest. Trump has nothing on you.
