It is necessary as it will disempower corrupt bureaucrats like Lois Lerner.
Any real tax reform to simplify the process will be fiercely fought by CPA’s, H&R Block and all of the other “tax mafia” that benefit from the current complexity. Most “reform” in the past has made it more complex, not less. So I remain less than hopeful... but hey, they talk about it every 2-4 years... the promises resembling those of the Serpent in the Garden.
