Twenty years ago I wrote the forward to the book "Abortion: My Choice, God's Grace" by Anne Eggebroten. Whether you are pro-choice or pro-life, if you haven't read this book, you should. It is a compilation of stories of Christian women and their abortion experiences. In the forward, I wrote:
"Abortion is almost always a difficult decision, no matter how much bravado a woman displays. I am continually awed by the spiritual struggle women go through as they face the decision, their introspection is admirable, and their anguish is quite real. More than anything else, being able to choose and being affirmed in that choice gives a woman peace."
I then went on to write about the spiritual damage the various denominations of the Christian church do to the women in their congregations who've had abortions, either through excoriation of abortion or complete silence about abortion.
Twenty years later I find I need to write about the damage the Planned Parenthood videos are doing to women who've had abortions. Not from the angle of the filmmakers, but from the angle of the clinic staff and doctors and the leadership of Planned Parenthood.
The thing that has many people disturbed, even outraged, on either side of this issue is the seemingly cavalier attitude toward the aborted fetuses by the clinic personnel. They laugh, they make jokes, they appear to haggle over the price of the body parts and they describe making it "less crunchy." And every woman who has had an abortion is now is wondering "Did they talk like that about my abortion?"

Monsters. Monsters.
Didn’t look so solemn as the killer was munching her salad and swigging her wine and haggling over the selling price of dead baby organs. No, solemn is what God will be on Judgment Day when He pronounces His sentence on unrepentant sinners, such as those who killed His children.
Anne Eggbroken?
Once again, the “crime” is exposing the TRUTH. Not the abortion, the cutting up and selling of babies...but calling attention to what has been going on, horrifies the left!
“The Solemnity of Butchering your unborn CHILD”
Twenty years ago I wrote the forward to the book (blasphemous title removed)I guess nobody writes forewords anymore.
I then went on to write about the spiritual damage the various denominations of the Christian church do to the women in their congregations whove had abortions, either through excoriation of abortion or complete silence about abortion.. . . because nobody has to take the blame for the spiritual damage they do to themselves, therefore shift the blame to the messenger(s). Old story. Its not like the prophets of God were killed at any time in human history because nobody liked the message they brought, oh no.
Abortion is something they will never forget. Many can clearly tell you the details of how they felt when they learned they were unexpectedly pregnantRight; cause and effect suddenly vanishes in this instance. Who kiddest thou?
It is disturbing that Planned Parenthood would make statements about investigating the filmmakers as their first response. Is it now? Well, when you sell your soul to the devil, is it so surprising that he will come around and demand payment?
“I wrote the forward...” Ms. Eggbroken tells us. Shows us she’s an idiot, right off the bat. And no one at the Baltimore Setting Sun corrected her. No one writes a “forward.” The preliminary text in a book is called a “foreword.”

Alright, Olog beat me by two minutes. Here’s my excuse — I wasn’t logged in, OK?
Here's how it goes. You tell yourself that you are a compassionate person with sensitive responses to life's many hurts. You convince yourself that you feel more deeply than the average person, because that leads you to the conclusion that you could not possibly be anything other than a Good Woman.
Therefore the killing you do could not be a moral crime. It must be something higher.
"Oh, I know! It's a sacrifice --- a gift to the common good. My husband or boyfriend, my parents, my employer, my kind, sensitive self, we will ALL be better off if this pregnancy could jut be made to unhappen.
"Sure it's hard, but I'm doing this for everybody. And for the baby, first and foremost. He'll be a little wee spirit in heaven! He'll be in a batter place! I am heroically taking on a season of tears to spare him a lifetime of suffering!
"I know it's OK because I am a deep character and I feel it. I feel it right here in this heart of mine!"
---says the Sentimental Murderer
Sounds like an abortion apologist trying to have it both ways. Can you really be outraged by Planned Parenthood’s attitude, when you condone killing a baby as some sort of “Christian” act?
So, as long as we’re solemn, and don’t discuss the gruesome details, kill away. I think the author is just saying “utshnay upway” to PP. She doesn’t want them to spoil the plush gig with their big mouths.
The secret to keeping abortion viable in our squishy morals society is to ride the “safe but rare” line all the way to the bank. Nod your head gravely, and don’t let the indifference, nay hostility, to human life show through.
It’s the same strategy liberals employ on minorities. If you spout the right buzzwords, it’s okay to keep them in serial bondage.
The guards at concentration camps felt horrible...not because of what they did, but because they had to witness certain things doing their jobs. They felt sorry for themselves, not their victims. Ditto for PP employees.
“Did they talk like that about my baby?”
There, fixed it.
Replace the word abortion with sodomite or murderer and understand the idiocy of glamorizing and canonizing those committing grave sin.
Don’t let women become convicted concerning their sin. They might bow down and beg Christ for mercy! /s
