This 1983 photo of the same Clintons and Bushes already partying at Kennebunkport.

Cruz is in Seattle next Tuesday for a fundraiser. Come and join us, won’t you?

Cruz’ donations should be around $60 million at this point.

I think it may be much higher.

He was at $53 million a month ago, and then received two major donations totaling $25 million. Add this approx $15 million, and the other donations he’s received since these reports, and he’s approaching or passed Bush fundraising.
Csrl Cameron reported on this today, and while no number were mentioned, Cruz’s strategy of working the SEC primaries to deflate the IA, and NH primaries is smart, and drawing attention.

Ted probably believes that the Evangelical vote will be divided in IA, and NH is now unofficially MA, with Trump, Bush and Kasich in the lead.

Huck may be gone by the southern primaries, and Ted will have a war chest to spend on advertising, giving him a big tactical advantage.

Clinton, Bush and Wallace?! Where did you find that photo? Wow!

It’s almost as good as Nixon and Elvis

surely Iowa evangelicals will not repeat with Huck or Santorum just b/c they did once before...but see that they have the real deal in Cruz, and one who can go the distance and not just be a protest to the establishment...

surely

Seattle is a cross-country trip for me. I’ll wait for one closer, but thanks for the invite.

Honestly, though, even Cruz doesn’t get the new celebrity political culture we are in. Trump does.

That’s a very shrewd and subtle point but spot on......

You see that in the Twitter followers, Trump 3.6 million, Cruz a couple hundred thousand.

More might give if they thought he had a real chance.

Don’t expect much at all from IA.

He needs to spend early and define himself early. He has the money. It’s a golden opportunity.
