This is excellent news. I like to see one of the good guys gaining some traction in this much-ballyhooed race. I hope he gets millions of dollars more. Ben Carson just tweeted me a film of his campaign bus tearing up the highway and that's pretty cool as well. Another good guy who should be leaving GOPe lightweight ¿Jeb Bush in the rear view mirror.

Now Ted Cruz, he's been doing quite the tour of the Deep South lately. This is going to be a very strong base of support for him. He was in Huntsville, Alabama the other day and I've spent a lot of time there and if the people there like him, that bodes very well.

Who knows what's going to become of Trump. In the meantime, it's nice to see good people like Ted Cruz and Ben Carson move into the #2 and #3 slots in this interminable race which is still HALF A YEAR AWAY from it's first primary contests!

A LONG way to go and a LOT can happen betwixt now and then.

I posted photos of the Cruz grassroots army forming in the “DeepSouth” today ...it's amazing to see the welcoming crowds he's attracting during the afternoon and this on a Monday no less. Pulling in well over 3 thousand at just two stops. Standing room only at the facilities and the supporters politely mobbed him when he step down to the floor after his speeches to join them.

I like the pace that Cruz's team has orchestrated for him and the family photos throughout this tour , from Cruz taking a snooze with his daughter on the Bus ...to swinging her around in the courtyard....then a nonscheduled stop at a soldier commemorative site to pray...and finally an emotional moment while standing in a crowd, Cruz unexpectedly ran into a Pastor he had known all his life.

The humanity and graciousness of this man just eludes from him and the people are very comfortable just being there. Then when he speaks the fire is lit, followed by many standing ovations.

It is exciting to see and the pace is so perfect....I agree we are going to see this man continue to have a very secure place in this election...and I am personally hopeful the next President of our Country.
