I agree with your assessment re: Bush’s passivity. It irked me to no end and cost the Iraqi conflict in the media b/c Bush would not speak up against critics of the war. We need a fighter as POTUS, not a compassionate conservative ne: RINO.

From the beginning I’ve believed Carly’s candidacy has been nothing more than an orchestrated sideshow leading to Jeb appointing her as his running mate. How could a failed corporate CEO, who also failed in her only bid for private office, and who until recently had virtually zero name recognition with voters nationally attract the kind of big money needed to mount a campaign? Why is she getting favorable stories from the same national media that vilified Palin? Unknowns, particularly losing unknowns, receive big money and favorable press when they are part of the plan.

Carly is a Trojan horse. The GOPe expects Hillary to be the Dem candidate. They need a female to demonstrate diversity on the Bush led ticket. Bush won’t attack Hillary directly, it isn’t in his nature and he can’t give the press an opening to portray him as beating up on a woman. They know only a female can attack another female. So far Carly is carefully and artfully attacking Hillary to gain credibility with conservatives while maintaining her elite corporate persona to be acceptable to moderates and the press.

The GOPe is biding it’s time. The immediate objective is getting Trump to sign the pledge he won’t run third party. Then the knives will come out and the boys at the Chamber of Commerce and the Wall Street banks will quietly let Trump know he can either play his assigned role, and exit when directed, or they’ll cut off his access to capital. Trump may be personally wealthy but many of his businesses are highly leveraged. His big real estate deals require him to raise billions from Wall Street. Cut Trump off from access to the big pools of money, and his access to the media, and Trump will become just another wealthy retiree on the golf course.

Once Trump either self destructs or exits According to plan, it will be divide and conquer time. Bush still is the favorite candidate of the elites and has raised the most money. With Trump out of the way, the media will turn its attention to destroying Walker, Cruz, and Rubio. This will be accomplished via collusion with the media and cutting off access to money at opportune times. If Cruz can’t be destroyed he will be totally ignored. Bush will emerge as the leader and the media stories about a Bush/Fiorina unity ticket will start running. It will be a repeat of the 2000, 2008, and 2012 Republican selection process with the establishment candidate winning.

Excuse me; maybe you can help me out. I’ve searched and searched and I can’t find where I said I was voting for Carly. Please show me where you saw that. I do my research. I’ve been a political junkie since I was a little boy who went door-to-door with my mom, late night, waking up the neighbors to tell them that Ike won the 1952 Presidential Election. Don’t be so snippy. And, btw, do your “research”. I never said I was voting for her.

Your tagline says Carly or Martinez for VP. I don’t want either for VP. Carly is probably trying to get a job on Fox as a political analyst.

As a woman, Carly is my dream candidate. Trump’s face is so florid. Is he an alcoholic?

I never heard Carly until recently. I agree with Trump, she is not easy on the ears.

I just simply find her less appealing every time I either see her or hear her.

On the bright side, she’d likely be better than Hitlery, but certainly is not the cure for our nations problems.

Carly has been talking smack against Donald ever since last Thursday but now it is him who is guilty just for answering back?

It looks that way.

Don't hit the girl, she might bleed.

With one post (Tweet) that spikes peoples interest, and they begin to re-tweet, you can have 1000 to 100,000 people read your comment. It’s the “Pyramid” of social networking.

“Donald can’t seem to keep his mouth shut. I don’t mean there shouldn’t be some transparency, but there are national secrets that need to be guarded.”........

I think Trump is being misjudged in the above statement. Yes, he speaks his mind openly when it benefits him. He also is a VERY SKILLED negotiator when it comes to making deals and operating a business, many businesses. He surrounds himself with extremely competent people who are much like him. Trumps is using his not so politically correct act to get the attention of ALL voters who openly see what odumbo AND the rinos have done to this country. Don’t sell him short as being a buffoon, he is NOT.

I never said he was a buffoon. I said he has trouble keeping his mouth shut and the name calling is too much. He was on Fox & Friends this morning. He did ok, but I think he said something about Paul - giving him money. That was for a charity and should NOT have been told on national tv. Those are the kinds of things I’m talking about. He has some serious character flaws.

We do have a candidate running whose views are similar, or even more conservative.

And he doesn’t attack or name call.

Cruz.

Look where being polite gets you, in what, 4th place?

Well, in NYC we pretty much know The Donald. He’ll either make it or he won’t but I do feel we know him probably better than the rest of the country.

Cruz is my candidate. He might rise in the polls if he went nuclear on Obama, Hillary, Bernie and Rand Paul. I guess he can’t hit that girl Fiorina yet.

le calling out Trump as thin-skinned? How long have you been here to know that Freepers were up in arms for years that Bush let every insult - big and small - pass unnoticed. It ate into his presidency like a real cancer. That was Rove’s policy and it destroyed Bush. Trump is going to fight big and small.

Once again you hit the nail on the head. Youve been doing that a lot lately.

They are all narcissists, or they wouldn’t be on the stage. However, we need them. Ted Cruz is the more polite Donald Trump. Both speak their minds.

Name calling? How about Jeb Bush’s name calling? That was quite petty.

These are early polls. There is a long way to go - so numbers will go up - numbers will go down.
