I agree. I can’t get behind Jeb. I am no admirer of Donald Trump.
It’s come to the point where Trump the wrecking ball is the only thing that leads to a conservative in the White House. The GOPe is all in for Jeb, and if he falters they will pick another go-along-to-get-along candidate who will talk conservative but make no changes to the structure that gives us McConnell and Boehner surrender monkeys.
For now, and probably up until the convention, Trump is only weapon that might work to break up the cartel. If he implodes, then Cruz it is, but GOPe won’t allow Cruz unless Trump is making deals at the convention.
Note how carefully Cruz refuses to bash Trump and merely restates his own conservative positions when the MSM gives him the chance to dump on Trump. I think Ted sees it, too.
