The Carter family also has a bad history of being subject to cancer. Survival rates (5 year) are rather bad with local spread giving regional spread a 7% survival rate while distant spreads bring it down to 2%.

I have a low opinion of President Carter’s term in office and I feel that Obama can do little but raise his rating by a notch. Still, “Ask not for whom the bell tolls ... !”

My husband was told in April, 2006, that he had liver cancer. The drs gave him 6 months but he died in early July. After he died, we had to take his $4000 a month meds back to the pharmacy to be destroyed. We have often wondered if it were that dangerous, what did it do to him. We really, really miss him.
