Kasich was too busy with his frat-buddies to actually get an education. Had he bothered to get an education, or worked in the real world, before slinking into politics, he might have some governing principals (a systematic, consistent philosophy) instead of the default philosophy of pragmatism. When “conservatives” (or in Kasich’s case people who have a vague understanding that some things are right and somethings are wrong) subscribe to pragmatics, they fall right into the left’s hands: “Hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?”
