I agree with her. The gun laws in place today are FAR too numerous and restrictive.
I would think that the perp could have killed the same people in the ten hour time he spent with them using a sharp knife taken from a kitchen drawer. (or even a dull knife, or a baseball bat, or a rock from the garden path) Horror of horrors, we are surrounded by lethal weapons...
