She knew the definition of “Top Secret” and knew what type of content met that definition.
The “I didn’t know” defense wouldn’t fly for any security cleared service member, civilian employee, or contractor. It sure as hell shouldn’t fly for the Secretary of State.
Absoluetly right. Just for the sake of discussion, suppose one of her aides had removed the "Top Secret" markings from the emails before Hillary saw them. What possible reason could they have for doing that? As soon as Hillary saw the content, she should have immediately known that this information fit the criteria to be marked as "Classified", "Top Secret", etc., and demanded to know why this wasn't done.
