I was thinking as I was reading responses, enterprising individual+black market=satisfying shower, clean hands... Can’t wait for the first press conference after a state, local, and federal task force takes down an illicit plumbing supply.

It will have to be friends from out of State. The Cali Commies cover their bases. When we were remodelling our Kitchen in 2010 some faucet models could not be purchased or shipped to Cali due to lead content in metal or some such nonsense. The same will happen with Shower heads. That is true for legit retailors, maybe Mom and Pop oufits won’t “know” about the regulation.
