Violence, indolence and criminality are accepted components of black culture. That is not exactly true of poor wbite people.

It is estimated that almost 90% of all violent crime is perpetrated by blacks. That is staggering.

Almost all poor blacks are urban.

I can’t imagine what gives you that idea...

“White poverty” is something white people seek to escape, while “black poverty” has become cultural and sought after.

Until blacks get luxury housing in green areas like low income housing that whites have (see image) there can be no fairness in America.

Black location matters!

Actually it's another that's really

"Black Location Mau-Mauing"

meaning.. "to intimidate by hostile confrontation or threats

See "Mau-Mauing the Flak Catchers" by Tom Wolfe

Now there are tennis shoes on the power lines all around the park, and we all know what that means.

What does it mean?

Whit poverty is not isolated in West Virginia and the rural south. But the comments are true regarding the difference between white poverty which is mostly rural and black poverty that is mostly urban ghetto.

In many of the smallest towns in the Upper Midwest, the income level is below the defined poverty level. These folks live simpler lifestyles; they help each other; they create their own entertainment; they play sports in the summertime;, and they are mostly church goers. And THEY ARE VERY HAPPY.

I READ SOMEWHERE THAT BLACKS LIVING IN THE DEEP SOUTH are actually quite satisfied with their lives, and live much like the poor whites in small villages all across the USA. So, small town living does have advantages and the biggest one is a faith in God, and an interest in friends and neighbors. There is not so much of a ‘me first’ attitude, and not a chip on their shoulders either.

Look at any demographic map and you’ll see that blacks like to live with blacks, Hispanics like to live with Hispanics, Asians like to live with Asians, and whites like to live with whites.

And your garden variety leftist will tell you they live like that because the whites won't have them.

They twist EVERYTHING into a whites hate non-whites.

Blacks used to be Republicans with an 88% intact mother father household, then Johnson bestowed welfare on them and it all went to sh!t.

This is a topic I discuss anytime it comes up. Why did Johnson bestow welfare on them?

He did it because Republicans pushed through one of the most stupid amendments in history. The right to vote without paying taxes.

For generations the Democrats kept many Black people from voting by using the tax payment requirement for the Franchise, a position that had always been the case in the United States since the Republic began. They did this because since Lincoln, Blacks voted Republican.

Well the Republicans, thinking they would achieve a huge windfall of new voters, decided to push the 24th amendment to prevent Democrats from denying non-taxpaying Blacks the right to vote.

The Amendment passed, and LBJ immediately recognized it as a grave threat to Democrats. He then embarked on a very shrewd (politically) move to grab all those newly enfranchised voters by bribing them with government money.

He started his "Great Society" and his "War on Poverty", which was basically using Federal dollars to buy votes among poor people who could now vote.

The Democrat party quickly became known as the "party of the poor" and the Republicans quickly became known as the "Party of the rich", and thereafter anytime a new poor child was born into a fatherless family due to the influence of unearned government money, the Democrats acquired another potential voter.

Lyndon Johnson simply outsmarted his Republican opponents who tried to destroy him and his party. Of course to do this, Lyndon Johnson set the nation on a path of financial suicide.

We've spent 21 trillion dollars on the "War on Poverty", and the problems are simply getting worse, not better.

Was sitting on the porch of my old house. Fairly nice neighborhood at the time. Slight curve with trees on the inside of the curve. My side was a steep uphill so you wouldn’t see me unless you looked. Nobody would speed around the corner.

Anyway, a humungous urban female comes around the corner in her car with the windows down, leans across the seat and throws a fast food bag of trash into my yard. I hollered, she flipped me off and kept going.
