I don’t understand who Eric Ericsson is or why people care about him all of a sudden? He seems like some kind of phony cardboard cutout, like a GOPe project to create a more malleable Rush Limbaugh.

Well, he has a talk radio show on AM 750 WSB. It’s my understanding that Atlanta has the largest talk radio audience in the US.
Seems his Red State conventions draw a bit of attention from the political class, too.
