AS I said, it is a question of trust.
I guess the question would be, how do we know voting for Trump won’t be really voting for what’s the same?
There are two things different about Trump.
1. He is frightening all the political class. You can see there efforts to bring him down. That would not be the case if they considered him one of them.
2. As a Repubican, he would not have the old media on his side. It does not matter if a Republican does what they want. They still do everything they can to destroy him. Just consider Nixon and Bush the First, even Dubya. The media will be a much more effective watchdog on Trump than they ever were on Obama, Clinton, or Carter.
Voting for virtually every candidate in GOP is voting for the same. They work for the same party as Boehner and Mitch McConnell. I look back at W. Bush where he squandered many chances to move the ball.
Doing the same over and over again and expecting new results is a form insanity. At least that’s what I hear. In the case of the GOPE it’s like hitting your head against a stone wall. They talk , if that much, and do nothing. DC needs a reset, and some someone to open them up like a can opener.
Voting for “what’s the same” is voting for what’s the same. Trump is the what is different, if not, why would both sides hate him? He has my vote.
We don't, but voting for the same is sure voting for the same.
