Trump did a good job of highlighting the trail of devastation and destruction by criminal aliens. He did not touch legal immigration and the damage it is doing to American workers and their loss of jobs and depressed wages. We have a surplus of labor yet we continue to bring in 1.1 million legal permanent workers a year and 640,000 guest workers annually.
That’s my point, too. With Sessions help, Trump can tie in this massive, endless, needless LEGAL immigration with our wage stagnation, lack of jobs & cultural change & then you have that “eureka moment” where the American public “gets it” & then he will roll to the nomination.
Expect him to soon start emphasizing the damage of legal immigration in the coming months. Americans will resonate to it just as strongly as they've resonated to the issue of illegal immigration.
Frankly, we all feel our national identity slipping away, so the alarm is real. The moment is ripe for a leader of real character to stand up and say what most citizens are thinking.
