I think it would take a little bit more than this to be a disqualifier.

Rubio is a candidate I have wanted to support, but after his misadventure with Schumer and the gang I’ve been watching, but not getting on board. He states he would want the border fully secured first before moving on any other issues, but the bill he signed on to did not guarantee that, especially with the current President who would have signed the bill and started implementing in his own way. At the debate he raised good points on border security no other candidate was really focusing on, but he’ll have to do more to convince me he’s committed to securing the border first and has truly abandoned his prior misadventure.

Rubio is the only candidate who has been willing to address in detail the higher education cartel and wanting to break the monopoly of these four year universities and allow people the option of vocational training and stating that not everyone needs a traditional 4 year degree, and paying for people to get degrees in Greek philosophy are not helpful to the future of the economy. This is an issue that needs to be addressed and I’m glad at least one candidate is doing it...others need to get on board. The universities are teaching a bunch of garbage and tenuring professors whose words are no more substantive and beneficial than listening to a goat...probably less so, as we’ve seen with numerous stories over the years of the nonsense going on on the campuses and classrooms.

We’ll see. Right now, I’m more with Walker if I’m with anyone.

I liked Rubio a lot when he spoke to my pubbie club back in 2009. But once he landed in W DC he figured on hoodwinking his base. Perhaps the elites told him what rubes we were and he felt he was educating us... who knows.
