I have my doubts about the enthusiasm of the FBI to dig deep into this issue, as evidenced by the fact that even though it was public knowledge that all this took place on Hillary’s server and her lawyer had a thumb drive with the emails on it in his possession, the FBI did not immediately seize them. Why not? This is a matter of national security. When it reaches that level there should be no hesitation in obtaining the unsecured info by force if necessary.
They obviously had to wait for authority to proceed.
I believe the TS/SCI determination was the catalyst.
