I believe it. I used to do a nation radio show way back in the early 90s about the coming immigration crisis, both illegal & legal. We had millions of listeners in 38 states & sometime we would go for the whole hour without one phone call....there was just no will to survive. It’s changed somewhat, but it’s not that different from then.
I never understood the lack of participation or interest but it never occurred to me it was a lack of will to survive.
Maybe you're onto something. But I understand that even less.
