Well, not in my neighborhood which is over 50% retired and active duty military.
I’ve been a conservative Christian living in the most unchurched county, in the most unchurched State in America. Port Townsend, Washington. I don’t know what I was thinking when I moved here. My house is up for sale. I was thinking of where I would like to live, but I think you are right. There are safety in numbers. I think now it will be a military town like Bremerton (Naval base puget sound) or Oak Harbor (NAS Whidbey), It seems no matter how hard I tried witnessing, either agressivley or subtly, In nearly 20 years I couldn’t seem to get through to many of these witches or homosexuals @ all. It will be nice living in a town that doesn’t spit on you, or throw rocks and sand at you and your VFW comrades as you March in any of towns local parades. I’m as much a sinner as anyone else (But I do have a get out of jail for free card on me. Thank you Jesus, I’ll try not to take it for granted) At least I tried. Would you like to see some people more removed from reality that San Francisco, Berkeley or the mainstream culture, wherever? Then come tour “Beautiful (and it IS that) Port Townsend! Washington St!
