They expect him to do what he is saying he will do, they are business people who want the same thing every conservative American wants, they believe he will do so based on his most consistent history.
That is not to say he is superhuman and not susceptible to making mistakes in judgement, he is held to a greater standard (that’s the way he wants it) than Trump and all others (obviously) but when he does make a mistake he won’t cover up or lie about it, there are millionaires, billionaires, middle class and poor, that appreciate and support demonstrated consistent and constant honesty, integrity, and courage.

Much though we may like and respect Cruz, make no mistake, while he thinks he’s wooing them, they are lurking in the bushes, just waiting to be “wooed” so they can get their hooks into him and his administration, if he’s elected.

As this article shows Jeb Bush is spending $500,000 on personal jet travel and other things that are personal. What is total donated so far? I see $15 million contributions from a single donor. How much of this money ends up in assets somewhere overseas for these candidates.
You people really that the reason these politicians are running is not for this huge profit, political career advancement then again you all are delusional. Politicians give us lip service and always have not done what they promised.
Most of these big donors are for amnesty . No wonder none are saying what Trump is saying as in deport illegals

The article says jeb has spent around $600,000, perry has spent around $450,000, and Cruz has spent $50,000.
Basically, Ted has spent about a tenth of what jeb and perry have spent, and he is doing just as well if not better than them in the polls.
Trump should envy Ted Cruz not only on his frugality but in his return on investment.
Someone who practices what he preaches and means what he says???? It takes money to run a campaign and that money has to come from those who believe in the candidate. If all money becomes suspect, then only the truly corrupt would ever get donations.
