Nine inch Nails had a song called “Happiness in Slavery. But at no point have I ever read a sincle word in the Bible where God commanded his followers to be thankful victims.
But selling ones garment to buy a sword comes immediately to mind.
Some people are intent to stand for themselves and will use God/Jesus/The Bible as an excuse to justify not fighting back.
