Discussion putting a stop to birthright citizenship for illegal aliens is not asinine, it is every bit as important as building a fence, E-verify, denial of benefits, etc. Ending birth right citizenship, anchor babies, will be as great a deterrent as building the fence.

BS, there is a thriving anchor baby tourism industry along the west coast and in some other areas. And temporary workers and foreign students also give birth in the US.

Birthright citizenship as allowed in the US is idiocy and should be made illegal. This nation is certainly capable of securing the border and making other improvements in immigration enforcement during the same time frames.
