None of today’s descendants of slaves would be alive today if slavery had not existed. The odds are practically zero any living black today would have had the same combination of male/female ancestors required to result in the exact same egg being fertilized by the same sperm that created them. Certainly those who have white ancestors, as well as black, would not exist had their African ancestors never been taken to the Western Hemisphere. Most of today’s descendants of slaves have some white DNA.
It is ironic how few living American blacks who complain about slavery, white privilege, and racism in America choose to move to Africa. This absence of action to improve their condition is testimony to the fact they know they are better off in the USA than if they lived in Africa.
